From My Perspective

Is Your Life ‘Worth The Read’?

We pulled in the driveway when Michelle, who was riding in the back seat, sighed deeply.  ”Eight hundred pages and Marcus finally gave his heart to the Lord.  I love this book”, our daughter said as she read page 804 in the second of a trilogy of books recommended to her this summer.

Mike says, “Wow Shell, that’s great… It took me about 900 pages to come to the Lord”.  They laughed.  I totally floated off (figuratively speaking) to think about how every single day is a page in the story of our lives…our storyline is more fully developed everyday and our choices affect the direction in which it reads.

Makes me ponder… What is the story of my life really saying?  Are the pages worth reading?

I have friends whose lives are SO worth reading… and emulating!

When I read the lives of other people I know, it’s clear I don’t want to follow after even a day of their storyline.

What about you?  What’s the storyline of your life look like today?

May it be said of both of us…”Your life is certainly worth the read!”.
