From My Perspective

Pastor Ray

March 14th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized

Although he now serves as Senior Pastor of Christ Community Church in Austin, TX, Ray McCollum was our pastor for over 12 years here in Tennessee.  To say that he and his wife Elizabeth are ‘dearly loved’, would be an understatement.

Pastor Ray was and continues to be one of the best teachers Mike and I have ever known.  We eagerly receive his newsletter and enjoy each of his ‘good news’ lessons.

Last fall, we received an e-teaching that we’ve saved to read again and again.  He titled it, “The Stewards Risk”.  Our attention was captured when he wrote, “Let me tell you something I have learned about FAITH…you spell it “R-I-S-K”.

In my view, the entire lesson is outstanding and must be shared!  Please take the time to read it.

While you are on his site, sign up for his newsletter.  Like for me, it will become a favorite in your ‘inbox’.

    Hello Bro Ray
I heard Jed Senca bring your name up that you were coming into Franklin doing a bible study. I would love to hear or see you if you have time. I still remember a sermon you preached at Bethal. God has used you greatly, thanks for the good and Godly memories. You blessed my family and help heal my family thank you. It is good to hear about your ministry. We did start a church in Clarksville, Tenn. over 5 years ago. We do alot with military families. I praying a blessing on your life and ministry.
    In Christ, Larry King
